About Denise Louie Education Center
Denise Louie Education Center promotes school and life readiness by providing early learning services to children and families that need our services the most. We are committed to providing high-quality services and preventing an education gap before children enter school, while respecting and preserving each child and family's individuality, cultural heritage, and home language.
To do this, we provide comprehensive, multi-cultural early education and family support services to low-income, at-risk immigrant, and refugee communities residing in King County. Today, Denise Louie serves nearly 650 children (prenatal to five years old) and families with preschool, home visiting, and socialization groups--all of which are offered at no cost.

Since 1978, Denise Louie Education Center has provided high-quality multicultural early learning and family support services so that Seattle kids will be ready to succeed in school and life. DLEC provides a great early education for kids, support, and skills for new parents, as well as extra help for families in need, creating a supportive community for all. Last year, we served over 650 low-income and immigrant children and their families through our Early Head Start home visiting, Head Start preschool and Play & Learn socialization groups.
