Let Dreams Take Flight celebrates Denise Louie Education Center's 38th anniversary of providing high-quality early learning and family support services to the families of King County. Join us for an evening with exciting LIVE and silent auctions, as well as a memorable dining experience under incredible aircraft of the Museum of Flight.
We are excited to present the Dream Awards to recognize community leader Mai Nguyen and Seattle Children's for their instrumental roles in our efforts to educate and empower children and families in our community.
About Denise Louie Education Center
Our purpose is to promote school readiness to those who need our services the most. We prepare children, birth to age five, for a lifetime of learning and success. We are committed to providing quality services to low-income families of color in our community, thus preventing an education gap from the start, before children enter school. To do this, we provide comprehensive early learning and family support services to low-income, at-risk immigrant and refugee communities residing in King County.
Today, Denise Louie serves over 650 children (prenatal to five years old) and families with quality, multi-cultural preschool service, comprehensive home visiting services, and Play and Learn groups.

Since 1978, Denise Louie Education Center has provided high-quality multicultural early learning and family support services so that Seattle kids will be ready to succeed in school and life. DLEC provides a great early education for kids, support and skills for new parents, as well as extra help for families in need, creating a supportive community for all. Last year, we served more than 650 low-income and immigrant children and their families through our Early Head Start home visiting, Head Start preschool and Play & Learn socialization groups.
